Fall Protection System Component

  1. Harness
  2. Lanyards
  3. Anchor/Accessories

It is critical that the end user understand each of the components. This is to maximize safety at the workplace.

Proper Maintenance of PPE

  • Clean equipment after use.
  • Air-dry the equipment; do not hang in the direct sunlight.
  • Store equipment in a cool, dark and dry well ventilated place.
  • Do not alter the equipment in any way.
  • Use caution when using equipment around moving machinery, electric hazards, sharp edges, chemical hazards, and high heat environment or flame.
  • All components of a Personal Fall Arrest System that are involved in a fall shall be immediately removed from service or disposed of or destroyed.

All PPE’s must have a certification from Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) or International Certifying body like American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OSHSAS) and Conformité Européenne (CE Marking) to ensure it has undergone a quality control check.

E-Link Team must wear their protective gear while riding motorcycles.

  2. Knee Cap
  3. Elbow Cap

“Mas maganda pa ang mag-ingat ng maraming beses kesa maaksidente ng isang beses” Mr. Mariano reiterated.

Mr. Mariano concluded the seminar by having an open forum with all the participants. As a wrap up the Cooperative wanted to ensure the safety of its members by providing all the knowledge through seminars and giving quality protective gears.
